C-MORE Competition was established in 1999 to design and manufacture innovative firearm solutions for customer requirements. C-MOREs’ first complete firearm was the Lightweight Shotgun System (LSS) in 1998; followed by its successors, the XM26 and the M26.
The LSS was designed and produced to meet an unfilled, and what was thought to be, a technically impossible task of meeting the requirements for an under barrel shotgun as described in the MWS ORD. During the ensuing years, C-MORE Competition produced six subsequent versions of the Lightweight Shotgun System that refined the technical capabilities of the system, culminating in the current M26, MASS.
The M26 represents the lightest 12 gauge shotgun in the world that can fire 2 ¾” and 3” SAAMI specification as well as mil-spec ammunition. Five U.S. patents have been issued for the M26 underscore the concepts embodied by the MASS. The M26 is the first and only shotgun system ever Type Classified by the U.S. Army.
To produce unique, imaginative and reliable firearm solutions for the competitive, recreational, and professional user.
